Mark Vincent, an opera singer from Caringbah in New South Wales, won Australia’s Got Talent age just 15. Mark was raised by his grandfather for most of his life. It was he who first recognised Mark’s talent and encouraged him to enhance it through singing lessons. Jal Joshua is Filipino-Australian who finished in second place losing out to the grand prize winner Mark Vincent in Australia’s Got Talent 2009. Jal who was just 12 years old when he entered the competition, originally came from the Philippines, but is now settled in Australia with his family.
