Biography

Ray Quinn, a performing arts student from Liverpool is a very talented singer, actor and dancer. In his early life it was acting and dancing that was his main interest. Before the X Factor, he made appearances in theatre and on television in various roles.

Ray’s first major TV role was starring as Anthony in Brookside a popular soap aired on Channel 4. In 2002 he won a Soap Award for best dramatic performance and in 2003 the storyline he was part of won best storyline for 2003. In 2002 Ray also won best young actor at the Inside Soap Awards.

In 2009 Ray showed off his skating skills when he entered ITV Dancing On Ice competition. Ray was partnered by professional ice dancer Maria Filippov. The pair danced their way to the finals delivering spectacular performances to win the competition.
