Diversity is a street dance act that won Britain’s Got Talent
2009. The group was formed in 2007 and in their first year together,
they won a Street Dance weekend competition. The group is based in

Susan Boyle has become a lady the world over that needs no
introduction. She came to fame following her first audition on
Britain’s Got Talent 2009 where she delivered an outstanding rendition
of “I Dream a Dream” from Les Miserables. Susan from West Lothian in
Scotland auditioned in Glasgow where her appearance and demeanour
allowed everyone to conclude that she would not be able to sing a note.

Julian Smith a brilliant saxophonist from Birmingham delivered
exceptional performances during Britain’s Got Talent to finish the
competition in third place behind Susan Boyle and Diversity.
Julian has been playing the saxophone for over twenty years,
but started his music career playing the clarinet before going to
college to study the bassoon. He took up the saxophone as a means of
relaxing after a heavy day at college. At his audition the 39 year old
music teacher left Amanda Holden in tears following his amazing
rendition of ‘Somewhere Somehow’ from West Side Story.more...
Shaheen Jafargholi from Swansea, Wales, entered Britain’s Got
Talent at the age of 12. He wowed the judges and studio audience with
his rendition of the Jackson 5’s classic ‘Who’s Loving You’. It was not
just the judges, studio audience and the millions at home who were
impressed with his performance, Michael Jackson – the king of pop, was
also impressed. Michael watched the videos of Shaheen’s BGT
performances on Youtube and was so impressed he invited Shaheen to
appear on stage with him at the O2 arena. Unfortunately it was not to
be, but Michael Jackson’s family invited Shaheen to performer ‘Who’s
Loving You’ on stage at the Michael Jackson‘s memorial service in Los
Angeles.
Starvros Flatley is a farther and son dance act. The duo
performs a fusion of Greek and Irish dance in a comedy style. Their
audition on Britain’s Got Talent will go down as one of the funnies
routines ever performed on the television show. Their performances made
them one of the favourites to win the show but they narrowly missed out
on securing a top three spot.
11 year old Aidan Davis from Birmingham is a talented dancer
who impressed the judges and audience with his self-taught dance moves.
Aidan has never taken dance lessons but started practising his dance
moves when he saw George Sampson winning the Britain’s Got Talent 2008
