Simon Cowell has become a man the world over that needs no
introduction. He came to the public’s attention in 2001 when he was a
judge on the first series of the ITV reality show Pop Idol. He later
became famous in the United States as a judge on American Idol. In 2006
he created the TV show America’s Got Talent in the US and the following
year created Britain’s Got Talent in the UK where he is also a member
of the judging panel a long with Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden.
Simon’s straight talking and harsh critiques of the contestants on
these shows, is perhaps the main reason why he became a household name.
His approach has also given him a lot of respect in the world of music
so much so that insiders have dubbed him the most powerful man in pop.
In this years X Factor show, he is mentoring the Over 25’s category,
and have enlisted the help of Sinitta once again to select the top
three acts to go forward to the live finals. This year, he has chosen
his new home in California as the audition venue and no doubt it has
been a holiday of a lifetime for all six acts.
This year as in previous years since the start of the X Factor, Sinitta will be Simon Cowell’s assistant judge for the final auditions of the Over 25’s category. Sinitta came to the public attention in the 80’s as a pop singer with hits including ‘Toy Boy’ and 'Cross My Broken heart’. However, she has accomplished a lot more in her career so far. At a young age she trained as a Ballet dancer and made a name for herself in the West End. Sinitta also featured in a number of moves, adverts and TV shows around the world.
Simon’s West Beverley Hills $20 mansion was only recently completed, but at the right time to welcome the X Factor ITV crew, presenters and six hopefuls who dream of making it big in the music business. Let’s hope they did not leave any mess behind, because the house appears to be a very clinical home where a spot of dust could knock thousands from the value of the property. Tempted though I am, I will not go into why any man would have black toilet roles in the smallest room in the house. But I guess Simon Cowell is not just any man.
