Spellbound Wins First BGT 2010 Semi Finals

Just like they did in their auditions, Spellbound once again pulled off a performance that left the audience and judging panel spellbound. These acrobatic gymnasts are truly amazing.

The young acrobats scored the highest number of viewers’ votes among the eight acts in the first semi-final of the week to go through to the finals on Saturday.
Britain’s Got Talent judges Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell chose Tobias Mead over fellow runner-up 14-year-old singer Olivia Archbold to take the second spot on Saturday’s Finals.

Spellbound, the last of the eight acts to perform, won high praise from the judges during the show for their daring and intricately choreographed routine.

Judges Comments:
Amada Holden said she wanted to see them in the final, adding: “It didn’t disappoint. It was high voltage excellence.”
Piers Morgan: “one of the most extraordinary routines”.
Simon Cowell: “incredible”, stating: “This is what this show is all about, finding undiscovered talent and you are that.”
